Thndr is a digital investment platform on a mission to democratize access to investment technology. With a goal of becoming the leading investment platform across the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region, Thndr enables people to invest easily in stocks, gold, mutual funds, and savings products. As part of this mission, the Egypt-based company expanded its operations to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Keeping our infrastructure secure is essential, which is why we chose AWS for our UAE (Abu Dhabi) infrastructure, leveraging its strong data-residency and compliance standards. At the same time, our Egypt infrastructure remains hosted on-premises to meet local operational and regulatory requirements.

We needed a way to manage cloud costs efficiently across our AWS environment without compromising control or moving our accounts under a third-party organization. With MilkStraw, we didn’t have to do that. Everything stayed exactly the same!
